What is the decibel rating on this dishwasher? null

Very silent, can't tell it's running when in the next room. The online manual, at Maytag.com, or manualsonline.com, has the decibel rating.

The decibel rating is 49 and we have an open area between the kitchen and the L.R. So quietness is very important.. You don't hear it filling ( like our older one) and just hear a quiet noise when it empties but not anything that interferes with hearing the TV.

50. I find it really quiet. Our kitchen is not located so close to living areas that we needed anything quieter. I didn't see the need to pay the extra $ for that.
