A:AnswerHello DK, While the actual water heater is responsible for heating water before it enters the dishwasher, the heating element is a supplemental tool that serves several different purposes. Most modern-day dishwashers operate at a temperature between 130 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Water entering the dishwasher has an average temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit, which may or may not properly sanitize the dishes. The heating element, however, warms the water up by an additional 10-15 degrees; thus, effectively killing harmful bacteria and germs. In addition to killing bacteria, the dishwasher’s heating element serves a second purpose: to encourage faster and more efficient drying times.

A:AnswerI paid $35 for an install kit when I bought the dishwasher which probably had the cord in it. Best Buy installed it for me that’s why I am not totally sure. You need to contact the store and ask them. If you had a sales rep they should have told you. If you bought it online you should have read more carefully. By the way my dishwasher is awesome!

A:AnswerI do not know how much water this unit uses but I can tell you that we love it. It is the quietest dishwasher that we have ever used. When it is running there is almost no sound and I frequently find myself asking my wife if she had started the latest cycle and it is running and I am standing next to it.
Sorry that I can't answer the question asked but I can tell you that it is the best. We u8sually use the SANI cycle.
