What setting does anyone use in place of gentle cycle. My machine that just broke had a gentle cycle that I used occasionally. Would it not be suggested to put more delicate china in this machine? null

It doesn't have a "gentle" cycle by name, but it does have a "Quick" cycle and a "Rinse" cycle. One of those might work. So far nothing I have washed has been damaged on the "Normal" cycle or even on the "PowerBlast" cycle.
