Don’t worry about the ice maker. The refrigerator will only work for a week. Then you get the pleasure of storing food in an ice chest for months. Maytag will not replace the unit. They say it is better to wait on parts that don’t exist to come in. We have been using a yeti cooler as a refrigerator for the last three months. Don’t buy Maytag or any of the thief other brands.
