“Just got my stove turned oven on keeps smoking. Checked under oven there is white tape around hose should this be removed? Or leave it alone?”

• Ours did the same thing on start up. Protective plastic and oils used in manufacture probable cause. We turned on the fan and it cleared up. No smoke after a few minutes.
