Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Okay, a couple of things. The user "manual" was simply a one-sheet piece of paper. If you can't find yours, go online and type in memorex bluetooth cd player and the model # (it's on the bottom of the cd player). My cd player model # is MPCB630GN. Info/site with this sheet should pop up. If you've ever used cd players before, the knowledge pretty much translates to using this machine. If not, familiarize yourself with the basic functions a little at first. Next, to open, simply with the player in your hand or sitting on a hard surface, look at the front. There is a bar with raised ridges you can feel and see, and a fat arrow (-->) pointing to the right. Put your finger on the raised ridges and lightly push the bar to the right. Voila!
