I might be wrong, but I think you were given a colored flyer about Office with the product key printed on the back of it. The Best Buy paper receipt has a serial number for the subscription on it, I don't know whether this will work.

you should have received an email from best buy for your product code. But I know i lots of subscriptions with them. When this happens to me I log on to best buys website and go to purchases you should see your subscription there. If not get a hold of tech support they can help you.
