My new mouse did not work at all. If I miss some steps? null

Try and change the battery. The one that came with it may be dead

You may have missed a step but just as easily could be a defect. I purchased this mouse for my dad who works with 3 monitors and 2 laptops at his desk and he was able to use it. Only thing I noticed was that he could not use it on all screens at once - he was limited to use the mouse on about 2-3 screens.
