No "trick" that I encountered. There is a feature to program it. Try that. Maybe the computer simply needs to "find" the keyboard, but I am not a technical guru.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if it's not turning on, it means that the software isn't loading up into computer. Mine was easy plug and play. Maybe unplug it, shut down computer, plug it back in, and turn computer on again and seebif that work's. Or maybe you just got a bad keyboard.
