“Seen previous answer that this mouse does not work on glass or reflective surfaces. Is it still considered to work WITHOUT a mouse pad or is a mouse pad a necessary option for good service.”

• Not sure about glass, but I use it directly on my cloth covered couch and it works fine. I have even used it on my leg (i.e. jeans, skin, basketball shorts material) and it works fine.
