Yes it will. When you son logs to MS Office / installing it on computer then he would have to use your information since it is under you. 
Or you would have to install it for him with the username and password that you have associated with the registration. Its pretty much do once and thats it.

Yes. As long as the current microsoft account is used for adding the new subscription. To share it with YOUR new laptop, he will have to "share" (in the account settings) his subscription with you (using your email address). Then once you have installed the apps on your laptop, you would sign in with that / your account, and the service will recognize that he has shared one of his licenses with you.

don't renew HIS subscription. Buy the 5 device and count his computer as one of the 5. It is better financial value.

It should. When asked for a renewal or new purchase enter the new license key.

This will work for his renewal. It would not work with the new laptop as the code would be tied to his account. His account could be used on the new laptop as it supports up to 5 users.
