My wife and my children use Chromebook and Pixelbook (not Windon computer) and they use the online version of Office 265. I highly recommend using the includes OneDrive service to backup/sync all your files. This allows for easy sharing, ability to work on different devices and to work online or off offline. I have added a photo of a work my sone did with Word online version. The subscription allows membership for up to 5 users. I share mine with my children, wife and my sister. If you find someone reliable and that you trust, you can share the membership and split the cost. My family works more efficient for school and work related projects. Highly recommended!
