First of all you can just buy it and not pay for it every year, or go to a Google Chromebook and use google docs.

If Microsoft comes out with a new version, you have to pay the $150 to $499 all over again. It was a lot easier for me to pay the $69.99 renewal every year as it also includes any updates that Microsoft comes out with. Hope that helps

Please try again later.If you purchase I believe the Student Home and Office if I am saying the title right.The price is $149.99 for a non expiring subscription.This is subjected to only 1 PC, tablet ,etc. This meaning you will have to use that same computer to access your subscription.Hope this helps and makes sense.
