Yes your files have been saved to your hard drive and you should be able to read them.

That's the file that is crushed down when you transfer the database of emails, contacts, and calendar info to another machine. You would also need to unlock these files into another machine using Outlook. Yes, the Office Home & Student Edition only gives you the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
