"IF" Office can be retrieved from your hard drive you should then be able to add it to your new device (I have for a few laptops that have taken a dump), HOWEVER; this is in and of itself a definite "maybe" (case in point, my most recent laptop where I could NOT get Office 2013 to transfer to my new laptop). If your old device has taken a dump and there's no possible way to log back into it you can remove the hard drive and salvage whatever you can from it. "IF" Office was originally attached to your 1st device and then over time you've had computer issues and had to transfer Office from one to the next device and to the next device, etc. It can happen where Office - in cyber space - has locked into a particular device and WILL NOT let go...you're screwed and need to get a new version of Office. Was I happy about that...absolutely NOT (i.e. THANK YOU BILL GATES). Although I had a one-time pay for life Office 2013 I now had to pay a one-time pay for life Office 2021. I just wanted Word and Excel...no frills. Why pay for a subscription when you just need the basics!?!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
