• Office Home & Student 2021 is a one-time purchase product. Once installed, you will have access to all of the included programs, but will not receive product updates as they grow and evolve.

• MS Office Home and Office 2021 is a one-time purchase that you download and that is yours to use indefinitely. But you will not get any program updates as the product evolves. For most folks that is no big deal. The one-time purchase product will serve the needs of most people for years to come. But if you need or just want the latest Office upgrades and tweaks as soon as they come out then you will need to go with Microsoft Office365 which has ongoing subscription fees.
