• Not sure about the Book but I replaced the charger on my Studio with a 102 watt USB and it works. Been my only charger for two plus years. I'd say get a low voltage brick and hook it up. You should see a low output warning at the bottom right of the screen. That tells you the computer is trying to recharge from that USB port. I did that successfully many years ago on a 2nd Gen Surface Pro.
