You can hear it scrolling if you spin it fast but no noise when scrolling slowly. No clicking sound either way.

It does have a very subtle click but not like mice used to be it’s there but it’s subtle.

The Surface Mobile Mouse uses a scroll wheel instead of touch, so this mouse should not be any louder than any other average mouse with a scroll wheel.
