Will I lose my programs such as Word or Excel? null

If you choose upgrade to windows 10 pro,no! If you do a fresh install, yes, but you can reinstall them.

I did not lose my Word 2010 program. It works fine. Some others may be incompatible perhaps.

If you do a fresh installation of Windows 10 then you will need to reinstall Office.
