You normally can't even install Windows—Chromebooks ship with a special type of BIOS designed for the Chrome OS. But there are ways to install Windows on many Chromebook models, if you're willing to get your hands dirty. If you don't have the technical expertise to accomplish this, then pay to have it done or better yet, take the money and purchase a windows based laptop.

The only issue that you might run into is that the Chromebook might not have support hardware for windows 10. I would recommend that you reach out to a repair shop if you need any help.
