Is this mouse acceptable for any kind of computer, like a Dell laptop??? And also I want to know if the mouse needs a pad to move easier, or is it fine without a pad?? null

This mouse works with most any computer that has a USB port. You can use it without a mousepad, but some surfaces are finicky. So if your's doesn't work, then buy a $4 mousepad.

Worked fine with both my Toshiba and my Dell Laptops. It works without a pad but I like using the pad.

It should be accepted in a wide variety of laptops. You can use it without a pad but its honestly more comfortable using one.
