Also for about 2-3 hours they released a few consoles for sale every few minutes to disrupt the bombarding of bots trying to buy all of them and as control so their servers did not crash. I wish you the best of luck trying to get one. I was able to secure one today quite easily with the method they did. It looks like their next restock could possibly be before christmas or after February 2021.

A:AnswerI felt the same way actually, but the more I thought about it I guess it kinda makes sense in a way. Best Buy probably doesn’t want to be held responsible for the possibility of accidental damage to the electronics when one of their drivers delivers the system. It is already back ordered and in high demand and when it is shipped to the store they are not held responsible, it is when they deliver it from their store franchise and it gets damaged then they could possibly be held responsible for repair costs.
