“I bought 2 sets of the 28 mile range midland walkie talkies, installed the batteries and charged according to manufacturers instructions. Batteries went dead in less than 2 hours. What’s up with that?”

I’ll answer my own question. I called Midland and they said batteries should last 6-8 hours at least. They were very helpful and sent me new battery packs. I have always had good luck with Midland products. Thanks
