“How do they work in the city, for ex: send with grandchildren when they go to the park with brick buildings in between?”

• In city environments with obstructions like buildings and brick walls, the performance of any two way radio, will be reduced compared to open areas. Expect the range to be significantly less than the maximum due to these obstructions, personally I wouldn't risk it.

• Brick buildings are thick structures and can probe to challenging. It will depend on distance.
