QuestionWill I be able to go up to the service counter at my local best buy and be able to renew this plan? Like pay them the 180 dollars and they pay the bill for me since I don't wan't to do it online for security reasons.

- Answer No, you can call Mint Mobile customer support and pay or use the Mint Mobile app on your phone or use the Mint Mobile web site. Also you can setup auto renewal on your account.

- Answer Mint mobile runs on GSM network so an older iPhone may not work unless it works on AT&T or T-Mobile. Newer unlocked iPhones run on all networks in the US. Go to mint mobile.com and select BYOD to check you phone model. Or google search your Specific Apple model and see if has can run on GSM. You’ll be assigned a number when you activate the SIM card unless you want to port an old number.

- Answer There is a law that allows you to keep your number no matter which carrier you switch to. Mint will port your number for you.

- Answer It doesn't matter because you can put the new sim card in your phone regardless of what service its had as long as its tmobile or unlocked and isn't blacklisted.Dont know why she would answer yes when that is completely wrong.in short you will be able to use the phone

- Answer After obtaining your Account # and PIN from your current carrier, you should be able to port your phone number to Mint. Then after your first 12-months renew easily using the Mint app. You can keep a payment method on file and toggle on Auto-Renew or authorize a one-time payment.

- Answer You need to install the Mint Mobile app on your phone. Then open the app and select "Activate your SIM". Then install the new Mint Mobile SIM into your phone.

- Answer If you buy from Mint Mobile, you must activate within 45 days. If you buy from Best Buy, you have much longer to activate since it is based on the expiration date on the SIM card which was almost 2 years in my case but I activated within 45 days of purchase since that was what I needed to do anyway. The outside says to activate within 45 days of purchase but the actual expiration date of the SIM card is much longer since Mint Mobile does not know when the SIM card will be sold by Best Buy. I hope that helps.

- Answer Yes. Mint Mobile's plans all include hotspot capability. It is deducted from your 4G allowance. For example, if you purchase this 8GB plan you have 8GB of data to use either through your phone or through hotspot, or any combination thereof. That is 8GB total, not 8GB for each one.
