• I kept my for a few weeks before using it because I was waiting for another SIM card that was list in the mail. I do not think the have an expiration date.

• I am locked in a plan with a different carrier. Can I buy the ANY 3-MONTH PLAN FOR $15 promotion now and use it later? Yes! You have 45 days to activate your SIM before it expires. the above is per their FAQ, you have 45 days to activate.
