If the "existing line" is on a different service, this will allow you to port-over your number. This will NOT add months to your current Mint account.

If a new number is required, then current customers cannot apply this particular deal to their current line. Current line = current number. I have a follow up question that I will post separately as a new Q. But while I’m in this thread I wanna take a minute and respond on behalf of current Mint Mobile customers. this type of business practice does not inspire customer loyalty. It’s the reason I’ve left AT&T, will soon leave spectrum, and why I’ve been planning on ending my mint mobile plan soon. Conversly. It’s also why I have acquired 20+ Apple devices, beginning with the earliest ipods, why I have 6 different Salomon trail runners, and why I bought up every Puma 76 Runner in a 7.5 I could find when I realized they discontinued the style (I dont want to imagine life without them). these products I feel genuinely make my life better and so I want them in my life. I’ve been a mint mobile customer for a while – several years (I was an early customer). It seems like it would make sense to try to reward me for supporting you guys. Like my auto insurance company. Well they don’t make my life better, the cumulative discounts overtime also inspires a type of loyalty. instead of accumulated a collection of minor disappointments. my Apple Watch is Wi-Fi only because Mint Mobile does not support data plans for the Apple Watch. It’s not like it’s a new product it sound like it seventh generation. Mint Mobile could definitely do better for his customers. Lucky for me Google fiber has recently become an option.(!) I might have extended my time with Mint Mobile by six months if I could have applied this deal. I do hope whoever reads this initially at Mint Mobile understands this is not a personal attack but rather constructive criticism of the company itself. Since this customer actually knows what they’re talking about, And I do sincerely hope you’ll take the time to route my feedback up the foodchain (assuming there is a viable route for transmitting customer feedback at all).
