• there is a "line in" on the Monster Superstar that I think you could connect an ipod via an auxiliary cord to, from the ipod headphone jack to the line in on the speaker. (Auxiliary cord is the one with the headphone jack on both ends).

• Yes, I have the same setup. You will need a cable/plug from your vintage IPOD and then just connect it to the line-in port on the Monster speaker. Easy peasy.......
