“When i plug ny usb cord into ny monster speaker, the red light comes on for a second then blinks and goes off after a mere 3 seconds. When i power it on after charging it for 6 or more hours, it cut off in 15 seconds. What could be t he pproblem?”

The rechargeable battery is dead?....and will not any longer hold a charge. Contact the manufacturer but I suspect you can not get a replacement battery....
