“I had the Litter Robot 3, which had known defects that broke the littler box after only 6 months. I am hopping the litter robot 4 works great. However, with total tech if I have the any issues after a year, do I just return it with the protection plan?”

I like to think of this as a grey area. If its known defections in the product its manufactuer warranty. However if you sign up with total tech for the year and after the year is up. If you dont renew or cancel anytime. Your protection cancels the same day. If you still have the protection then i would call your local best buy and ask them for further instruction.
