Mine took 5 hours using a ipad charger.

If I use 5 volt AC adapter (phone wall charger), it takes about 8 hours for fully charge. If I use 12 volt charger (iPad AC adapter), it takes about 4 hours to charge.

Make sure the circular blue glow lights up when placing your phone in the center of the portable charge, otherwise it’s not charging.
