• It's not water proof because there is nothing to cover the USB ports and the charger port.

• Not waterproof. Unless it has liquipel inside that they don't tell us about I seriously doubt this is waterproof. The ports are not sealed in any way which means water could easily slip inside. I wouldn't get this in the rain even.
