• Answer it's up to you if you want to. Because last time I charged a samsung tablet with low battery and use the power station as my battery supply I wasted the power bank throughout the whole day and I think I got only 75-80% charged. It varies on what you need to charge and how much power it takes.

• Yes, you should be able to use it to charge your MacBook Air as long as the end port for your MacBook is a USB port. It is very convenient to have especially when you can’t get to a traditional outlet.
