“I just bought one of these charges . Whenever I connect my iPhone charger to the mophie charger I have a hard time getting my phone charger out of the charger. What do I need to do or get so my iPhone cord doesn’t get stuck in the portable charge?”

Nothing, that is the way this unit is designed! I have noticed that same toughness when inserting, and removing my own lightning cables. These are well-built power supplies with very tight tolerances. That toughness with removing and inserting the USB a end of your lightning cables equals durability.
