Hasan, Great question. Unfortunately this, the 64 thousand dollar question of the refurbishment world, has gone unanswered and probably won't. Now quality wise? I recommend getting a refurbished model. I am a Nikon camera addict and always get the refurbished models because you have much more extensive component testing during refurbishment. As I understand it, the process of refurbishing is more intensive because of the cost of writing off defective units because of multiple run manufacture errors and/or assembly line worker error. ~d
