“I cannot open the the place you put the coffee filter”

If you have the same unit that I do, it says Mr. Coffee in a fancy font, across the center of the filter/coffee tray, which is immediately above the coffee pot? My model number is BVCM-EVX23, which is located on the underside of the unit, in raised lettering (unfortunately, it isn't in a different color than the unit, black in my case, making it difficult to see, unless u haven't put water or anything in yet and can turn the whole thing upside down to see it easier? Even then, I had to shine a flashlight on it so I could read it more clearly). So, on the top, front section of the unit, where it says Mr. Coffee, look just to the right, where the rounded portion flattens out & is next to the numbering, telling you how many cups you are making, and you will see a finger's width, raised 1" section of the plastic, a "tab" per sé, where you can insert your finger, to open the filter/coffee holder. It swings out, and towards you, swinging open to the left. This "container" is where you put your filter, then your coffee grounds go inside your filter. Hope this helps???
