• It has two M.2 slots, both capable of NVMe PCIe per MSI website. One also does regular (slower) SATA, which is what this 037 model comes with.

• The slot labeled "SSD 1" supports the older SATA as well as NVMe. The second slot ("SSD 2") only supports NVMe.

• The MSI GS65 has two M.2 drive slots, one of which is already occupied by the 512gb SSD. Both of these M.2 slots are capable of running NVMe PCIe Gen3 drives.
