does this board work with the new 5000 series? null

This board does support the 5000 series, but may need a bios update. If you check MSI's support site, I believe this can be done without a CPU installed via the BIOS Flash.

Yes it works with Zen3 CPU like Ryzen 5 5600X. But it comes with extreme patience and lot of work. The Boot flas bios mode with no CPU doesnot work. Wasted a day with multiple USB's and failed. This sucks. first get another CPU supported for B550 and bring it up Then upgrade BIOS - FLASH BIOS to latest beta patch of Nov to support Zen3's ( 150 version) Finally update the Zen3 CPU and replace the CPU Took me 2 days to figure this out
