• It may or may not be plug and play for 5000 series of Ryzen. This would especially be true if you get an older box without the print stating it is 5000 series ready. Bios update I used is pretty stable though, and not that difficult to set up.

• If the board is received in a box with a Ryzen 5000 series ready sticker, it will not require a bios update out of the box.

• 90% sure it does not. There are a very few people that say they didn’t have to but usually are fibbing or bought from a source that already flash the board pre sale (bestbuy does not do this).
