• Yes it supports 5600 and 5600x. Just did a build with it and it works perfectly, no need to update bios.

• It will work for either of those processers. You may need to update the bios, but it's not that difficult to do.

• I think it would need a bios update. On box it says supports 3000 series. I’ve also heard others had to update for 5000 series; I didn’t need to since I’m I’m still on the 3700x
