“Does anyone using this laptop, when gaming on typical low quality games like league FPS drop from 240 to 30 or 20 just unplugging the power source to AC? Tried power option and nvidia panel to GPU, but nothing changed. Any help? Appreciate it!”

• Found the fix to this. If anyone else also encounters this, go to GeForce and under setting > search for battery boost and there should be a bar. Raise it to the right to 60FPS and it will stay at 60fps even unplugged. With this, you should be able to play light games even unplugged for an hour or two, that way you won’t drain the battery all the time.

• Yes it is normal for laptops to throttle when not connected to AC power.
