The GS76 comes equipped with two dim slots. You may upgrade to 64GB of total memory.

The laptop can be upgraded to 64GB by adding 2 32GB DDR4-3200 Modules. Be aware that it’s quite difficult to get the motherboard out to install the memory and also reasonably difficult to get it back together, so take pictures of where the screws are as you go. The ribbon cables are a bit tricky to get back in as well. Lastly, if the system doesn’t power up, plug in the power supply. I was scared I had missed something, but that brought it back to life.

Be careful! The system slot (preinstalled) is 4th generation. The empty slot is 3rd generation.
