“MSI employee said that this monitor CANNOT be updated.... Ever. Is this true? if so, thats a HARD pass!”

• This used to be the case, but MSi has started supporting firmware upgrades on the MAG models, as long as they are on firmware version FW.012 for the 271QPX and FW.015 for the 321UPX.

• New 271QPX monitors should come on the 0.12 firmware which is able to be updated. I received this monitor on 0.12 and was able to firmware update it to 0.24 version.

• The MAG 271QPX will not receive updates, however, if you want the firmware updates you can purchase the MPG 271QPX version for $799.99
