You can replace your old motherboard with this one, and it will not affect your SSD "populated" by the operating system and all of your files. That's only half of the question though, TBH. While you won't affect the data stored on your SSD, you *most likely* won't be able to get away with replacing ONLY your old motherboard. Since it's "old", I'd assume it's running a CPU that's at least a generation or two before this board, if not more. Meaning you'll have to replace your CPU at the very least, and with those, most likely you'll need current-gen RAM too (This board runs DDR5) .. TL;DR - Your data will be fine but you'll probably have to get new RAM and CPU if you replace your old motherboard with this one. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what your older motherboard was because that could involve CPU and/or RAM as well if the old board was not a Z7x0 or Z6x0 with DDR5. But in regards to your operating system ssd, if its a m.2 NVME or a SATA SSD or platter drive then yes it should work fine, a few drivers might have to be replaced or updated.
