Does this camera use only AA batteries only? null

The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera takes either four LR6/L40 (AA-size) alkaline batteries, four FR6/L91 (AA) lithium batteries or four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. No other types of batteries should be used with this camera.

Yes AA only but you can also get rechargeable AA if you want. I get about 1000 photos from a set of batteries
