Indoor lights emit fluorescent or yellow tone. Change the settings for white balance and this should correct your indoor color tones.

Make sure your cameras White Balance setting has not been set something other than AUTO. The COOLPIX B500, as all Nikon cameras do, have an excellent ability to adjust for various lighting conditions through the camera's Auto White Balance.
