• No. The Nikon COOLPIX B500 camera does not have an ability to charge batteries inside the battery chamber. For compatible batteries look into using four alkaline LR6/L40 (AA)batteries, four lithium FR6/L91 (AA) batteries or four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) batteries. Rechargeable batteries cannot be charged inside the camera body.
