The Nikon Coolpix B500 offers a 40x Zoom that will help you reach out to get close up images of animals you may see. The B500 is not weather sealed so you may need to be careful if you are in overly dusty environments. Just be sure to follow proper cleaning procedures, found in the manual, if you are in overly dusty environments for longer periods of time.
