It uses just a standard sd card. To transfer it from the camera I use an sd card to USB adapter to load them onto my computer.

Please try again later.The Coolpix B600 uses a standard SD Memory Card, you can load the images onto the computer either by plugging in the camera and using the Nikon Transfer 2 Software or you can use an SD Card reader to access the images on your computer. You are able to charge this camera via plugging it in using a cord.
