“circles in-glass on lens? Just got a Coolpix L840. Went to set it up and noticed two tiny circles connected by a tiny line visible in the glass on the lens. Almost seems like a scale, but after researching it online and in Nikkons literature I can not find any reference to it. Wondering if its a defect or not.”

i got that camera too but i don't see what your talking about so i'm thinking that maybe that is a defect in your camera. Not really sure.. you should go to your nearest best buy and ask someone directly if its a big deal for you. good luck.
